So, my friends computer is incredibly slow now. He was literally on it when it suddenly happened and now it wont stop. There arnt any programs that are taking that much resource up on task manager, everything is below .1 MB/s. I couldnt even get programs to start until I restarted it in safemode. Then everything works perfectly. I did do a few scans, defragged it, malwarebyted it, and avasted it. While things were caught, we restarted it and no fix. Any ideas?

sounds like you have some malware that keeps reinstalling itself. some of the nastier stuff out there does this and your best bet is to wipe it and re-install the OS. Just my 2 ¢
