It's a PCI-e gen 2.0 x16, that means it's PCI-e 3.0 x8.

Yes, every gen doubles the bandwith.

then why people say that we will not lose out alot when we are running PCI 2,0 rather than 3.0 ? 

Because the PCI-e 2.0 x16 provides enough bandwith for your card. If you bought a second one tough and run them at x8 and x8 it could be a bottleneck.

Because they are morons. (everthing that is 3.0 8x  should be fine but if you have like 8x 2.0 then migth run into some problems.

Soon to be watercooled again, maybe, probably, the Titans are too loud.
