Recommended Headphones

Being pretty lucky my brother has offered to buy me a headset though i don't really know where to start looking. Looking for a pair $100 or under with an attached microphone and i'm not looking for anything like, "Bass accented" or "Pure bass" headphones, just something easy with nice sound quality and a decent mic.

good sound quality - light - wears good around the neck - good mic - no hot ears due to open design - look stupid because of the "oh look at me I'm so gamey and cool and stuff"

very good sound quality - heavy - doesn't wear good around the neck at all - very good mic - hot ears after 2 hours+ sessions

I can very much recommend the Philips SHP9500, they deliver absolutely amazing sound for the ridiculously low price they're offered at. Shame they're hardly available here in Europe.
