Well i was planning on making a hole in the back for the cables. Is a small holw enough like 1.5x1.5" big enough?

nah not really you need to cycle the air inside the cabinet. maybe because it is open it will be enough, don't know

Yeah maybe ill leave it opened for gaming. But might you happen to know any cases that may fit in there?

to be clear, I don't think you should drill holes in your cabinet. you should maybe get a case that doesn't completely fill the space, so some air can go out
