Hi all,

Wondering what you guys can think if I sell my whole rig instead of parting out.

MoBo: Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z

CPU: AMD FX-8350

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

RAM: 24 GB of assorted memory

GPUs: 3x GTX 980 Kingpin

PSU: Corsair HX 1200i

Case: Azza XT-1 White/Blue

Storage: 2 TB HDD WD Blue -- 960 GB SSD SanDisk Ultra Pro -- 240 GB SSD SanDisk Ultra Pro

I think I might keep the PSU and the hard drives.

Thanks!

Without a PSU, it would be very hard to sell your PC without parting it.

also, why such a CPU bottleneck? a smart builder would only buy your GPUs, because that CPU is really low end compared to a 980. you would be very hard-pressed to find someone who would take such a PC.

3-Way SLI is also very impractical, so I would 100% recommend parting it out

This build was my first build ever so that's why it's a rather odd configuration. I was thinking about parting out but wanted a second opinion. Thank you for the advice.

Without the PSU and drives maybe $900-$1000 but it's going to be hard to find a buyer for that configuration.  The Kingpins are still going for around $250 so parting it out would be best.
