Msi rx 480 usage

I bought a couple of days ago the rx 480 msi gaming x and i notice that in some games the usage of the card it oscilate from 0-100% for a couple of seconds. The cpu remains at arounds 30-45%. So what might that be? The games that i usualy notice that is at moba, ac black flag sometimes at ac syndictate.

What is you specs?
Does it impact the games performance?

I5 4460. At moba no. At others games some frame drops to 45 but is just for a few seconds.

It could be a cpu bottleneck. When the gpu throttles like that its probably the problem. What are your other specs?

8gb ram ddr3

550w psu

1tb hard drive

Check that its not running out of ram. Gta V did this on my old pc with 8gb ram.

Acording to task manager my system is using nearly 3 gb of ram, so it could be it.

Then try and monitor the amount of ram used when playing.

Around 5gb mostly.

arent those games console ports ? i would blame that.

Could it be the freesync? I notice that with my gtx 960 none of that happen.
