High ping on some game servers

Hello,

I need some help with an issue I have suddenly started facing since last one week. My ping to the nearest CS:GO servers have increased from 20-30 to 100-150.

This issue is specific to Mumbai location servers only and all other servers are giving me the expected pings.

I have done a tracert to the server: Result

 

A little more information:

1. My connection is 20 Mbps Down and 7 Mbps Up.

2. My connection is FTTH, that is Fiber till my rooftop and CAT5 from that to my router.

3. My location is Pune, it is about 150KMs from Mumbai.

4. This high ping issue is specific to Mumbai location servers, all other locations give me expected ping.

 

Here are the pings I get to other servers:

Singapore - 55ms

Hong Kong - 90ms

Banglore - 30ms

 

Please let me know if you need more information to help me with this.

Well if it's not you it must be the servers, so wait a bit and see if they fix the problem themselves.

That is something I am not too sure about honestly.

Cat5 to your router then... wireless to you? 

 

If you have such good pings to other servers then why worry about it? Just use the servers where you have the least ping.

Nope. Wired to my PC.

 

I am worried because I would rather play with people in the same country instead of playing with Singaporean/Chinese with whom I cannot communicate very effectively (if at all)
