Yeah, this sums up. Prices are pretty inflated because VAT (and other things that I'm not aware of)

Advice: Get cheaper motherboard. And dont get an EVGA GPU (as far as im aware its only the FTW editions of GTX 1070 & 1080) , they have problems with their VRMs at the moment.

That is the name of case, not a PSU.

Done. Any recommendations on the board & GPU?

For GPU: MSI's Gaming X / Zotac's AMP (or AMP EXTREME) / Asus Strix

For Mobo: Asus Z170-A or Asus Z170 Pro Gaming. Model doesnt matter that much, just dont pay for features you're never gonna use.

Assuming you get an EVGA with missing thermal pads you can notify them of this and send them to you. No biggie.

There's no need for DDR4-3000 RAM. RAM speed makes very little difference. Just get ordinary, cheaper DDR4-2133 0r 2400.

Your build really only needs a good 500watt 80+ bronze power supply, such as a Corsair CX550M. Even 650watts is enough for 2 1080's in SLI. (Or a 500-550watt 80+ gold if you want.)

A sieve may not hold water, but it will hold another sieve.

i5-6600, 16Gigs, ITX Corsair 250D, R9 390, 120Gig M.2 boot, 500Gig SATA SSD, no HDD

I would stay with the 6700K. i5's are starting to get maxed out in games. They do bottleneck 1080's and even 1070's in some cases. He will have less stuttering and frame drops with an i7. It would be better to save money on the motherboard.

I actually do notice the difference between 2133 and 3000 MHz RAM in games. Not so much in fps but the game is much smoother and there is no microsuttering.
