Okay so this is the issue I am facing with my monitor.

One uses a vga to dvi-d converter which works, the other uses a a plain old dvi-d cable. Anyway the problem is that AMD thinks the first monitor the one with the converter is using and HDMI, while the second monitor seems to have to correct information. I don't have and HDMI cable even attached to the card.

HDMI is basically just a version of DVI, it's nott unusual for them to be interchangeable like that.

DVI has the same pinouts as hdmi, its just that hdmi was made smaller for ease of use for tvs, it might be that theconverter that u are using is simulating HDMI to allow for conversion, i wouldnt worry though as long as it works

Thanks for your input guys, I honestly did not know that. Probably is the converter that is making this occur. Cheers for the swift responses :)
