Old pc new gpu

Hello everyone. For the past 2 weeks I was planning to buy new gpu into my old pc. But it made my think is it worth it? My computer specifications:

 

Intel Core Duo E6300 1.86 GHz

GT210 512mb

2GB DDR2 RAM

Shity 300w power supply

 

I don't really care if to run game I have to set graphics to low,  I am used to that. Thanks for answers.

Something like a GTX 750 Ti, 1050, or RX 460 would be a great choice. above that I would imagine you would be pretty restricted cause of your CPU

These are pretty much the only options and will still probably a bit mich for that cpu. Should play most games low-medium. If suggest getting more ram too.

yeah that would definitely be a good idea. 4-6GB would be much better

Your CPU is going to bottleneck so hard. Before I bought a new PC, I had a Pentium Dual Core E2200 @ 2.20GHz with a GT 220. And even GT 220 was held back by my CPU in more CPU oriented games. CS:GO was running at the same exact framerate on both 800x600 and 1920x1080. I believe even card as budget oriented as 750 Ti is going to choke a little with that CPU.
