Hello,

I am having more mb problems. Before a few months ago I asked about how to fix a mb with a broken bios and error code problem. I have a MSI Z97 Gaming 7 mb with 16gb of 2133 ram and a GTX980Ti.

A few months ago Bios A stopped working and would error code b6 and a2.  I tried to fix it but no luck.  I used Bios B.  Later Bios B stopped working and the bios with error code a2, and b6. Someone suggested trying to reset the Cmos by taking out the battery and using a screw driver to jump the CMOS pin connectors, forgot what it is called.   I did it and didnt work at first. I did it again turning off the system, bridging the CMOS connectors and I the JBAT connector (3pins) and the computer would start for a second, then shout down, start, shut down constantly without booting up.  I the drain again and this time Bios A worked.  But If I turned offed the system, it automatically went into the boot screen (asking me to choose F1 for boot menu or F2 for starting the system up. So I didnt shut off the system much.  Bios B never worked again. It does the start/shut off, start/shut off thing. I having been using bios a this way for  two months now.  Yesterday the power went off in my apartment. When it came back up, I had the start/shut off, start/shut off problem with bios A again. One time it started and stayed on, but there was no mb board code. Nothing was lit up at all on the number code read out but the system worked (no video or any thing, just the machine stayed on and the fans spun. Strange)   I took out the CMOS battery, did the screw driver to Cmos pins again and left the computer over night.

Took out the ram, reinstalled it. Unplugged keyboard and mouse.

I put the CMOS battery in this morning, started the computer and it would go to error code 63 and then to error code b6 and it would sit there. When I restarted the computer, the computer would start/shut off, start/shut off again in both bios.  I took out the CMOS batter again, did the screw driver (maybe bridged the JBAT pins again, not sure) to CMOS pins and when the computer started up, it would go to error code 63 to error code b6 and stay there. Oh, I only have the OS drive connected as far as drives go.

What could be wrong with the computer?
