I am building a pc for under $600 dollars ( U.S ). I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or ways to cut the price?

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/tVxtWX

The only reason I'm here is that I have homework that I don't want to do

PC  Specs   CPU: Intel Celeron N3060 |GPU: Intel HD graphics 400 |RAM2 gigs  |STORAGE16 gigs

It took me half an hour to find where to change my signature :(

It's a wee bit over budget, but this is very good

(if you want to lower the price of the system under 600USD, then replace the 480 with a 470)

Comunity on this forum won't pick AMD CPU if you have more than 500$ budget.

And that's with a reason.

Why would you like to stick with AMD cpu?

I don't really know, It might be because I've never used intel cpus before.

The only reason I'm here is that I have homework that I don't want to do

Well it's up to you, other members just suggested you build for same price, but much better.

i3 6100 is 30% better than your amd cpu: http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-FX-4350-vs-Intel-Core-i3-6100/2880vs3511

i5 6400 is 45% better: http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-FX-4350-vs-Intel-Core-i5-6400/2880vs3512

When it comes to CPUs, Intel is best choise. Unless you are doing some build under 400$ budget.

Don't use AMD if you can afford a modern intel processor. they haven't released a CPU in ages, so all of their CPUs are weak

I would recommend this: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/2HTVBP

It's very balanced, and only a tad above budget. if you want to get it to exactly 600USD, go down to 8GB of RAM, and upgrade it to 16 later. it also has an upgrade path, so if you have more money in the future you can upgrade the CPU to a kaby lake i5 (intel's new CPU generation)
