maybe you can try messing around in cmd if you can boot windows from a usb? Other than that, SSD is probably dead. Look online. How long have you had it for?

Not long bro but how do I get windows on a USB?

By using another PC to make a Bootable USB installer with the Media Creation Tool.

Out of curiosity, have you attempted to read the SSD using something like an external SATA to USB enclosure?

This is another alternative to having an entire second computer lying around for testing purposes.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, 5060 Ti) Mobile: Moto Razr 50 Ultra (Razr+ 2024) | 30GB CAN+US+MEX $30/month
Laptop: Lenovo Yoga 7i (16") 82UF0015US (i7-12700H, 16GB/2TB RAM/SSD, A370M GPU) Tablet: Lenovo Tab Plus (256GB)
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)

Hi there :)

What is the brand and the model of the SSD?

I'd suggest using the HDD's SATA and power cable as well as the SATA port that the HDD works on so you are sure everything you are suing with the SSD is working properly. This way you should be able to narrow things down to either the SSD or to somewhere in the system.

You could try booting off a slash drive (linux-based OS) and see if the SSD is detected at all.

Contacting the manufacturer is also a good idea.

Let me know how this goes!

My SSD died today... I had a bsod and it kept happening with different error codes even when installing Windows.  Using a 7200rpm disk.  I would say it could be sata port first, yet if your ssd isn't even detected then yeah...  it's probably dead.

Did you have success with other cables? If the SSD isn't responding with any cables on any computer I'd contact the manufacturer for some options and potentially replacing it.

Make sure you have backups of your future data so you don't have to face such situations in the future.
