Need advice for upgrading

Hi Guys

Its my first post here and i came seeking advice from pc veterans since im a total noobie, i own a desktop hp pavilion idk which model which is prebuilt and i wanna change the graphic card now unfortunately im on a budget a big one and i would like a good performing graphic card for mmorpg games and so on a decent card. here is my stuff https://gyazo.com/55fff49a9092201cdde77df390f4f240 as u can see i have a pretty shit graphic card which can only play league at high i struggle on lowest for overwatch etc, i thought about the 1050 ti because it doesnt require any pin and fit my 300 psu if you have any other option i would like to hear. Now the main question is if i buy the 1050 ti will it work can i just plug it in the pcie x16 and it will work or is there some other stuff i need to confirm im worried about buying the card and then cant refund it and it doesnt work on my pc.

As long as the card can physically fit into the computer, you should be fine. Some OEM's use funky motherboard layouts and I have seen in some Dell systems where the first PCIe slot cannot accept a double wide GPU because it interferes with the CPU heatsink.

1050 ti will work with any modern pcie slot. make sure you measure to check that it will physically fit in the case.

so how do i make sure it fits as i said above im really bad in this kind of stuff.

a ruler to measure your case, and Amazon should have the card's measurements listed.

Yes, the 1050ti is the best price to performance low power card at this time. The 1050 has similar specs if you are tight on cash.

Is it the width and length i should make sure of?

also, make sure you buy a rear exhaust card if possible as internal exhaust cards often thermal throttle in pre-built cases as the air flow is bad most of the time.

Ok man thanks, last thing so is the 1050 ti upgrade worth it from the gt 630 or is there a better card ?

yes. the 1050 ti is astronomically more powerful than a gt 630.

you should see much higher frame rates after the upgrade, as a 1050ti beats even a 680

The only problem here is i live in sweden, the 1050 ti is supposed to cost 140 dollar which turns to around 1200 Kronor ( swedish value) but instead they sell it for 2000 Kr which is increased by around 800 kr which equals 100 dollar. Is there any amazon alike thing for europe because amazon shippin cost 85 dollar.
