Posted October 27, 2016 I am considering replacing my Razer Kraken Pro 2012 with a new wireless one. The sound quality is fine of the Kraken Pro. I don't have high standards, and most of the time find myself only using one ear cup. As long as they are same as or equal to the Kraken Pro. I do care a little bit about the Mic. It MUST be better or equal to the quality of the Razer Kraken Pro 2012. The two headsets I am currently looking at are: Corsair VOID Wireless 7.1 RGB NEW: ~$100 USED: ~$85 Logitech Wireless G930 7.1 NEW: ~$70 USED: ~$50 The VOID looks and seems better than the G930. But the G930 has a lot more attractive price. If you have another preference please post it! It does not HAVE to be a GAMING headset, and actually prefer the looks of normal headsets. As long as it is Over Ear, has a quality mic, is WIRELESS, and is under $100. IT MUST BE Wireless because I hate wires. I will ignore all non wireless ones. Thank you!! Go for Corsair vengeance 2100s if you can find them, if not, G930s. I currently have G933s Better than the 933s? Those things cost $150! Which set are you referring to? Apparently Corsair is worse than Razer when it comes to naming. There is the Corsair Vengeance 2100 (2013) Corsair Gaming H2100 (CA-9011127-NA)(2014) Corsair Gaming H2100(CA-9011136-NA)(2015) The only apparent difference in the 2015 and 2014 models is a color difference. It looks like the original color was black and gold and then the 2015 model is fully grey. The 2013 Corsair Vengeance just looks like the older version. Which are you talking about? Do you know this for sure? Have you actually compared the headsets? Thanks. PC world says the VOID is better.... http://www.pcworld.com/article/3088750/hardware/corsair-void-wireless-review-this-headset-is-your-best-bet-if-you-must-go-wireless.html Corsair seems to be more proud of the newer VOIDs. From what I understand, the H2100 are the older-designed, more general headphones with great battery life and quality sound, while the VOIDs have more technology in them and are prettier with more bass. Apparently it suffers in the battery department when the RBG is used. The VOIDs have also seems to be more popular, with even Hardware Canucks making a video on it. Posted October 29, 2016 I'd recommend the Void Wireless if you had to buy wireless. Avoid the G930 way too many people have issues with them it's not worth the risks. Posted October 29, 2016 I'd recommend the Void Wireless, i have them myself and although i'm looking for headphones rather than a gaming headset atm i have never had any problem with these. They are comfortable, sound quality is pretty good nothing spectacular but not bad, i have never ran out of battery, easy to keep charged up and the mic quality is pretty good too. Check out this review for more, I got mine pretty cheap last year on black Friday so maybe wait for that.
