so...I've been up for 30+ hours (not building, thats only been ~5hours) so let's just jump in

wanted to build a PC, bought everything today:

6600k, Asus z170-A. strixOC 1070, 16GB RAM @ 2400, EVGA 650 BQ, and a basic 212 evo to save a little on upfront cost all wrapped up in a neat little S340

as it's a first build, I'm not exactly a guru...had trouble with wiring etc but powered through the manual and feel like I figured it out

finally got all the cables etc

plugged in the power, LED lit up for "pwr LED / pwr SW"

switched the PC on, and nothing LED died off, but comes back after a while

would love any help, as I refuse to sleep before I see some progress...I'm tired help a brotha out

had to get some sleep, just woke up

so far, I can't get it to post

everything powers up, etc....just no post. Went through several checklists of what to do (reseated RAM, tried only 1 stick, reseated all cables, etc)

also don't have a beeper, and won't be able to get one until tomorrow morning.

Did you press down on the processor while installing it? that could potentially damage your motherboard. Also I would re-do the front panel connectors
