How much could i get out of my desktop

Putting time/money into a computer does not pay off like it would on a home renovation. These guys are right, just because you custom painted and sleeved your rig doesn't add any value whatsoever. Also, selling used electronics, especially computers is always at a loss. You have to look at it like you are buying a brand new system all together and any money you can get, if any, by selling your old rig just helps to dampen the blow of the over all cost of the new build. I know it sucks but that's how it is for everybody.
