I lost the remote to my MuBox MB-7007 TV Cabinet, and i was wondering if anyone knows a remote that i can buy that will just figure out what buttons do what lol. i have tried another remote i had and it worked but the buttons didnt do the correct stuff so volume up turned it off and i couldnt find a button it that actually worked to control the volume. (it has no button on it so i cant controll it manually it needs a remote) i think i lost the remote when i moved house.

There are a TON of universal remotes out there at your local electronics stores. Many of them will let you look up your device and type in a code to have a fully working remote. Or you can shuffle through the codes for a particular brand until you find one that works.

Just go into your local electronics store and ask for "universal" remotes.

Alternatively, if you want something a little more high tech, look into the logitech harmony remotes. They've always worked well for me, although my parents hated them. (They didn't realize that you had to keep the remote pointed at the TV for a few seconds after the TV turned off so everything would always get out of sync.) The harmony remotes allow you to set the remote up on the computer, although I personally find their software to be a  heap of crap, but that was years ago. Not sure if they've changed it since.

(Oh, the harmony remotes allow you to do things like press a button that says "watch TV" and it'll turn the TV on, the audio receiver on, the cable box on automatically, instead of having to do it all manually.)

Then scan through ALL of the codes in the remote. I can almost guarantee you ONE of them will work.

Have you looked at the harmony remote compatibilities? It's online, so I'm pretty sure their list is pretty comprehensive.
