In the origin client at the checkout on the right side under the subtotal.

There is a small button that says "Promo Code"

Don't get too excited though because the purchase has to be over $30 and it doesn't apply to pre-orders.

The TOS says that you can't use them for:

"Star Wars The Old Republic, Pre-orders, games released within 30 days of purchase, value games, select partner titles distributed by Origin, Virtual Currency and game time codes. "

So pretty much just old games that cost more than $30

Yeah I came to the same conclusion. I realized that using my phone (which has a random IP address) I can redeem the promo code as many times as I wanted and it would give me a new origin code.

I then looked up the TOS and tried to preorder Battlefield 4 and it didn't work.

Its a shame.

My step dad came home with a McDonalds receipt and he put it on my desk because he saw the origin logo. He plays PS3 so he had no use for them.

These codes were printed on the back.
