I dont get why you need this as it wont give you usb 3.0 to an old usb 2.0 on your front case panel, there is double the amount of pins in a usb 3.0

I would be carefull it might damage something. if your looking to have a usb 3.0 on your front panel if you cant buy a official kit from the case manufacture then just you could manually mod it and take out a few old usb 2.0 and fit 3.0 or make new hole / slots to fit new 3.0.

It just sounds like to me that you want to fit usb 3.0 onto a 2.0 front panel on your case?? or am i on a different page here?

I have a Z9 case and it has 2.0 and want some 3.0 you can get a propper kit to change the circuit board and wires on the case front panel, i just havent got on yet but will.

got to love Asus components

I have a P8Z77-V Deluxe mobo that only has 1 USB3 header and 2 USB2 headers. I have a 600T and would like to use all four of my USB2 ports on the front I/O as my USB3 is a pass-through. I'm running a Corsair Link Commander that has an AX860i and H100i plugged into it which I had previously had plugged into both USB2 headers. So I was hoping to use my USB2 ports now to get as much functionality out of my case.
