Ive tried it on my old dell insipron

Open the laptop (May void warranty), Remove the HDD and stick the SSD inside. Some laptop mobo don't support SSD's and just reports an error. It could be possible.

After checking the specs on ASUS's site unfortunately your laptop mobo supports only:

- 1TB HDD 7200 RPM
- 500GB HDD 5400 RPM
- 750GB HDD 5400 RPM
- 1TB HDD 5400 RPM

- 750GB HDD 7200 RPM

I apologise my previous comment could be misinformed. SSD's can be installed on laptops as long as you make sure they are the same size. However, it doesn't rule out compatibility issues with SATA express support as well as support at all for SSD's on older laptops.

How do I choose an SSD that fits on my laptop?? :3

Any 2.5 inch form factor should work fine. Make sure it uses the correct connector however.

Possible and very simple. Just pull out the HDD and put an SSD in the same place. Clone your data and you're done. I've done it several times without any problems.

Current Build: Core i7 4790k @ 4.6, Asus Maximus VII Hero, Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400mhz 8gb (2x4gb), GTX 980ti, NZXT Kraken X61, Fractal Define R5  EVGA Supernova B2 850w, Some 300gb hard drive.
