144hz monitor or one with ips that monitor is not really worth paireing with a 1070

The GPU will unleash it's intense computing load, tasty, tasty shader cores... soo much data flowing through the PCIe slot.... Teraflop after Teraflop.... Once it hits 100% load, the GPU reaches it's TCase... 85C....

No IPS display? That's gonna suck.

Drop the HDD to a Hitachi 2TB and add a MX300 275GB instead of PNY.

I'd advise getting a CPU cooler from be quiet! such as the PURE or DARK ROCK.

First of all good build over all. My only recommendation is that you should drop some of the money of that motherboard (unless you have it for a specific reason) and that ram. you can find some for cheaper at 60 dollars and put it towards a better CPU cooler. I agree with the be quiet or maybe even a corsair AIO water cooler. But in the end its your build and i am sure that you had your reasons for building it your way. These are just some suggestions.
