I have an i5-6600k OC to 4.7GHz and my voltage hovers at 1.4V under 100% load. My H100i keeps temps below 70C. I have heard different things about safe voltages when overclocking.

Am I in danger of damaging my CPU? I don't know too much about how the high voltages will affect it.

thats to high, 1.4 is borderline damaging, 1.35 is considered the "safe" voltage for Skylake.

Way too high*

1.35 is the maximum safe voltage for the average Skylake card. I'd recommend dropping that 300MHz and go down to 4.4 GHz.

I've been told 1.4V is borderline damaging for haswell like me, 1.35v is better, but was told several times skylake actually has a higher tolerance and 1.4v would be fine. Obviously some degradation is always present with overclocking but with that CPU I wouldn't even worry, you'll replace that long before it becomes a problem.

I'd personally try getting down to about 1.3 myself, the last few 100 MHz won't be noticed to much and @Terabightyou'll drop your temps significantly if you get down into that range.
