As getting my message read in chat is near impossible. I thought this would be the next best place to bring up my point of view.

I had the same issue of audio randomly cutting out for short periods of time. It turned out to be a setting issue in recording devices and having 'Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device' checked under the advanced settings of my Yeti.

Might be related or not just thought I'd share my 2 cents.

Not asking for help, currently the WAN show's mic audio is randomly cutting out but telling a possible fix via twitch chat does nothing I thought I'd bring up my 2 cents on the forums.

The WAN show has never had a stream without some form of issue....I don't expect anything to change.

Due to some voodoo linus magic, the streaming setup doesn't like to work.

I wouldn't consider The WAN Show to be The WAN Show UNLESS there was SOME sort of issue.

The audio cut out for literally 1-6 words, each time it happened. Not a big deal IMO.

Trust me: THEY KNOW ALL of the issues, there is just so many of them you can never expect to get them all sorted lololol

Ot amazes me that Linus the PC GOD with his $40,000 network still can't get it working 100%:

Technolgy was made by man, therefore is eternally flawed.

Still an issue, I wonder if they ever saw this post

Actually I just watched the one about Vessle and Vine and Dennis and during all those conversations, which are all I cared about and skipped right to them, the audio never messed up like it did on the episode this topic is talking about.

They restarted the stream after detecting the same problem, and apparently replacing a USB cable solved it (I though I heard it cut once more with the new cable, but can't confirm, and everything went smooth after that).

Why don't they ever test stream before going live? Would solve all issues before hand every time.

They claimed they tested for x minutes (don't remember x, maybe 5 or so), so they were surprised the issue re-appeared.

Although pre-testing could help it start even later :P
