Eeey Guys!

So I've recently won a GTX 1080, which lead to me working my ass of to get my Custom-Built PC

But since I'm new to the Builders Community, I have no clue what I should get.

Thus I came to these Forums to ask what I should change about my Build;

These are a few things I want;

- Color-Scheme; Black, Silver Accents, RGB LED's

- Probably a Custom-Loop

- Great OC, but still quietness (English I know)

- Primarily for Gaming, Secundarily for 3D Rendering (CS:GO-ish) 2K-ish Video and 4K-ish Photo Editing (As a Hobby (Don't mind longer Render Times!))

- CD-DVD Drives (I know....)

- Budget of 2300 Euro's

- 21:9 Screen (Acer Predator X34, maybe, don't mind working some more for that)

I came up with 2 Builds;

The Z170; http://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/hFb4gL

The X99; http://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/4HnkD8 (The Mobo costs about 300 Euro's)

They're roughly the same price

(I'm going to file of the Green GTX GeForce Text, It has no Warranty)

Please tell me what u think of these Build and tell me if u would Change anything

(And yes I know the Dominator Platinums and the M VIII Formula are overpriced)

Thx!

Actully the X99 build seems pretty darn good but I would suggest going for 64GB for a lesser price after all you pay a premium for that  Dominator Platium

Definitely save up for the X34 if you really want an Ultrawide, it's absolutely beautiful. If you're going for all that stuff like video and photo editing and rendering, I'd suggest the X99 one, but i would suggest getting more RAM instead of Platinum's since they are so expensive, unless you REALLY want the look of them. You could also get a cheaper motherboard, although the STRIX is very nice. Also, PSU could be a cheaper model of PSU but still good quality, although that one seems fine for you.

MSI GE72 Apache Pro-242 - (5700HQ : 970M : 16gb RAM : 17.3" : Win10 : 1TB HDD : Razer Anansi : Some mouse) - hooked up to a 34UM58-P (WFHD) in dual screen

Xbox One Forza 6 Limited Edition Blue

Your builds are good.

The X99 build has support for quad channel memory.  You will get more performance from 4x8GB sticks than the 2x16GB you picked.
