Touch screen not working

Hey, I acidentally dropped my Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) in water for like 3-5 seconds. It turns on, and I have wiped off all visible water and put it in rice. However, the screeen does not register my touch at all, so i cant even unlock or do anything with it. It have been sitting in rice for about 18 hours now. Any idea on how to rescue my phone?

Put your phone in a bag of rice for a day. Then remove it after that and see if it works.
