Does it bother you or not  that the iphone 7 display is 1334x750? im upgrading from my galaxy S4 which had an amoled 1080p and im not sure if i should buy the plus not only for its 1080p display but for its larger battery, an extra 1gb of ram and larger size. I did consider a galaxy s7 edge but i thought i would mix things up a bit and go with the iphone 7 or 7 plus  although the galaxy s7 is a great phone too i would buy that too but i think this time i might go with the iphone 7. Whats your thoughts?

iPhone 7 has a PPI of 326 and the S4 has a PPI of 441. Side by side, you will see a difference in sharpness but honestly I am perfectly content with my iPhone 6s' screen.

I believe that the S4 also uses a PenTile display so while you get a reduction in sharpness moving to the iPhone, you won't get that weird sub-pixel pattern in the background.

I haven't used a 7 but I've used a 6s before. It was fine. Really I feel ALL smart phones should have a 1080p display at a minimum BUT on such a small screen as long as the PPI is reasonable it shouldn't be an issue. I personally couldn't go back to iOS after switching from that to android only a few months ago, I feel iOS is very limiting. That being said a 7 plus wouldn't be a bad decision. My 5s was running strong until I got a Zenfone 2 back in March and I still have it as a backup

System: i7 4790K, Hyper 212 EVO, 16 GB Crucial Ballistix, GTX 1070 Super clocked, MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition, Corsair RM 750, Corsair 750D (with 2 additional 140mm NZXT fans up top for exhaust.)
