So im trying to run mysql on a dedicated server but i dont know how to dedicate an static ip to it, Reason being because i want the connection it be fiber optic. I know how to make the ip static but im not sure on how to do that with mysql.

Correct. The database doesnt go outside my network thats all i need. But I just want to make sure its using the fiber port that i want it to use.
