FPS lag in CSGO

Recently I've been getting 100-50 fps lower in DM servers(around 100-120 now). I was looking at task manager at my CPU usage was at 60%-80% depending on the server at my memory was about the same. I haven't changed my settings or anything like that and I disabled Xbox DVR. I used to play youtube videos in the background or play music and I thought that was the problem but when I tired playing without it it didn't help significantly.

Any ideas on whats happening and how to fix it? On another topic, I have some extra cash and was wondering if I was going to upgrade things what should I upgrade first to get more fps? This rig should be able to get around 200 fps easy right?

I have seen a lot of people mentioning this in the past couple of weeks. I suspect that there was a recent patch that is causing some issues. Double check that all of your drivers are up to date. 

 

As as far as an upgrade, you would probably benefit from upgrading your gpu to an rx480 or a Gtx 1060

Yeah there was a windows update that screwed up my entire config/scripts too
