Looking for headset microphone

I have a pair of Astro A40s and the mic this headset came with isn't that fabulous; I'm looking for a new mic I can plug into this headset in its place. Is it possible to buy these small microphones separate from their respective headsets? I've searched the internet for hours and found nothing even remotely close to what I'm looking for. The price doesn't matter to me, I just looking for a good quality microphone I can plug right into my headset.
