Hello, i had to remove the GPU from my computer so now the HDMI cable connected to my TV/Monitor is connected straight to the motherboard, but i have no audio. I thought that the audio went through the HDMI cable as well what's going on?

Under sound it says

Digital Audio (HDMI) Not Plugged In. And i already tried the troubleshooting wizard. Sound only works through headphones.

These here are screenshots of what i get on screen. As i previously explained, my computer has no GPU attached to it (it caught fire due to orange juice spill) so i connected the HDMI cable to the motherboard and i got video but not audio. What's going on, what can i do? Thanks.
