Ping Variance

I moved into an apartment in August to live closer to campus while I'm in school. For the first month or so my internet was completely fine and I had no issues at all. Now recently (last few weeks playing games is almost impossible with the amount of lag I get.

 

I use wifi, because I have no alternative in this apt, but this shouldn't be the problem because I went so long without any problems. And my roommate can play with no lag. I have a Netgear AC1200 USB wifi adapter. I also did like pingtest.net and all websites like that say that I have good ping and no jitter.

 

I've tried looking up all kinds of tips or things to get it back to normal, but nothing has worked for me and now I'm desperate. Please ask any sort of other symptoms and I'll do my best to explain what's happening.

 

If anyone has any ideas what's wrong it will be appreciated.

This one seems to be really accurate. Please test your ping using this one.

27 down, 44 up. which seems pretty decent, but playing games is impossible with how much it stutters
