New Gaming Headest

Hello!

 

I'm currently looking for a new gaming headset (mic and headphones.) I currently have the Logitech G930s and they're pretty great, just on the older side... I'm currently eyeing the Corsair Void but not too big in audio so I don't really know where to look. Please let me know.

I love my HD598s and Yeti.

 

Though I would recommend an AT2020 over a Yeti

Do you want open or closed headphones?

 

If you dont know about those terms ill explain quick.

Closed are designed so they shouldnt leak out any sound, meanwhile open are designed to leak sound to give a larger soundstage*. Open soundstage is often pursued by gamers to get a competitive edge but also a more immersive experience.

 

If you have a private room and dont have to worry about people hearing what you are listening to and that there are no loud noises in your home then its often recommended to go with open headphones.

 

*So sound feels like they are coming from the enviorment and not from inside your head.

 

This will be my recommendation btw if you want open.
