hi guys a simple question here if i choose some very far away proxy and vpns will it slow down my connection alot . i mean look .i live in north africa so if i choose two proxies not far away from home for exemple france or netherlands and test , theni change with  2 other proxies for exemple in canada or russia will be there a very big difference in speed?  same thing with vpns ?

Speed, usually it will be slower and most likely have worse pings if it is further from you. Not much you can do to know other than actually testing it, because there are many factors in play.

Proxies and VPNs that are in another location are always going to be slower, unless your ISP is throttling you or something.  This is because your connection has to route through another server, if you are on a VPN which is encrypted then you might have some more speed issues because there is encryption and decryption taking place.  

 

The most important advice I can give is don't use a proxy you don't know or trust, don't use a VPN you don't know or trust and always check a companies privacy policy before you register with them.
