worth the extra dollars

psu is the heart , if it blows then chances are mobo and/or card fried

so better getting quality eg...EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P2 or the 650w one

just for peace of mind

as for cases check out the fractal design cases , well better looking if you like sleek

eg Fractal Design Define R4 Black Window Silent ATX Midtower Computer Case

with the money u save on case goes to psu

This is a better system with $50 more. It has a 6 core and GTX 1070, which, even though you aren't gaming it seems a waste not to go for at that price.

I am going to assume you will need the Pro full version of windows, however, you could get a lisence from kinguin for much cheaper.

I also changed your case and PSU, I don't know if you like the s340, but its a nice little case for the money.

Also, are not going to need a larger storage drive? How about adding a 4tb hdd?

Have you considered X99 for the extra cpu cores ? Also you only need a 550W power supply. Something like the Corsair RMx or EVGA G2 etc would be better.
