Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my power supply and then use it for my future upgrade. I used some wattage calculators I found online but the results weren't consistent. Here are the parts I plan on getting:

GA-Z77X-UP5-TH

3570k

Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme

MSI 660ti Power Edition *2

840 Pro 128gb SSD *2

Around 4 HDD

16GB ram

I'm interested on getting the AX860i from Corsair. Will this be fine?

Thanks in advance

760W 80Plus Gold would be enough for most upgrades but I would suggest getting the normal AX series and using the savings for some upgraded fans since you didn't mention owning a Corsair Link and getting the "i" series would have nearly no benefit.

500w will be more than sufficient. That system at max load will be lucky to hit 400w. Anything above about 650 is overkill and a waste of money. Have a look at the Silverstone Strider Plus 600w. It's about $100ish and fully modular. Seasonic are also worth a look and keeping in mind that the bulk of Corsair PSU's are made by Seasonic.

I know a guy running a 450w in an itx with a 670 and it's perfectly wine, systems don't really need all that much power :P a 500w would be a nice choice
