purple screen?

so my screen randomly turned purple/pink.. i dont know why and ive tried 2 different dvi cables and 1 hdmi but whatever cable i use its still purple.. is the screen about to die or what?

monitor. and i can like see through the tabs on my screen. if i have facebook open and then youtube on another tab i can see through the tab.. its hard to explain. its like transparent

interesting. take a screen shot for the lolz and see if it does the same. just incase. but yes wrath is correct usually its the monitor going out.

EDIT: Easier way to tell if its dying is just plug in another screen, tv, another monitor, ect..

my second montiro is fine and theyre bot running from the same gpu. ive tried the second monitor in another pc and its still broken..

If all cables are propperly connected, and if you have the ability to change them/still purple, yes. It's dead.

 

*EDIT: A LONG time ago, I had strange colours with a not-propperly-fixed VGA cable, not sure if this can happen with modern cables.
