So I was reading on Microsoft's website about Xbox on Windows. I got my gaming PC with Windows 10 installed. I currently don't own an Xbox (And never had owned one). The reason why I am interested in this is because my friends have Xbox Ones, but not PCs and I am curious if I can play with them on my Gaming PC.

  • So my questions are:
    • Do I need a Xbox to do that (If the question is no, then ignore the questions below)?
    • Are all games supported?
    • I'm one of the only people who still believes in using optical media over downloading my games (When possible), can I use optical media of games on PCs to play games? Or do I have to download all my games?
    • Can I play multiplayer with other people who use Xbox from my PC?

Yes you do need an xbox. All it allows you to do is to stream your xbox one (has to be on and working) to your PC.

I do BELIEVE that all games are supported as it is only acting as a monitor.

You can use optical media on your xbox but all games have to be in the xbox and / or downloaded to it.

Yes because you are just streaming from the xbox. There is no PC gaming going on.

You could get much more reliable answers for these questions on google or on microsoft's website rather than a forum. go type these questions into google and see what comes up =)
