Used GPU Pricing help?

R9 290X? I have one, it's faster than a 970, much better in DX12, has full 4GB of VRAM and they're very cheap right now in most locations.

I'm not sure about used market in Australia, it's how it is with them in Poland, you can get a 290 for the price of a 780, and a 290X for the price of a 780Ti and cheaper than a used 970, so Nvidia is pretty much not worth it here on the used market

Interesting. I haven't looked at ebay prices in a while and prices of used GPUs have dropped significantly.

Gumtree is a bigger rip off than I realised, that said $50 for a GTX 760 is still a good deal (GPU I bought 2 months ago)

290Xs are ~220-240 in the US

Does olx.com work in Australia/US? Or does that site not exist there?

Yep, it's a popular site in Europe to sell used things without a fee, Gumtree exists here but pretty much noone uses it
