Opinions on upgrades

Kyundere

Hey everyone. Welcome to the weirdness that will be my upgraded build. So currently this is my build. I plan on doing some aesthetic work on my build, as well as upgrading my gpu horsepower. So i thought that i could use a boost in juice. So i came across this power supply, and thought that 800w is probably enough for two 390's in crossfire. I also plan on getting the cheapest used 390 i can find on ebay, as they're about 100 dollars cheaper than they were brand new. Wether they're the same cooler doesn't matter to me, although if there are any problems i should know about doing something like that, please let me know. Alternatively, i could just not do either of those things, and i could just throw an nzxt kraken g10 and buy an aio on my gpu and call it a day, but that doesn't sound as fun. Let me know what you think/ what i should do! any help is appreciated

sell GPU and get a new one if you want more preformance, get like a 980TI PSU dosent need to be bigger probably, i dont know the power draw of 390s but they cant be that bad i wouldent think

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
