Strange Problem With Headset (Cutting out)

So, my mic is cutting out as seen, in the title, which may not seem strange, just a broken mic, but the only time it cuts out is when I am talking and playing games with my friends. I tried taking a listen for myself and whenever I went to my mic properties to listen to it, it was crystal clear, not cutting out. Any help please?
