Hey guys, what would you recomend?
Here is what i need :
two CPU cables
easier to do custom cables or at least verified compatibility with the most common extensions
around 850W - i think that will be the sweet spot for what i need
I need it to be as cheap as possible  (I know it will be 100€ or more :))
It doesn't need to be the latest, since i'm on a budget it would be nice if I would get it 2nd hand.

CPU: 2x Xeon E5 2670 Motherboard: ASRock EP2C602-4L/D16,  RAM: 64GB of 1333 MHz mermory from Samsung (ECC),  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1070,  Case: NZXT Switch 810, Storage: Samsug EVO 250GB and 500GB, 3x3 TB and 1x1TB  HDD  PSU: Corsair RM 850,  Mouse: Logitech MX Master 2s,  Headset: Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO black edition (80 ohm), OS: UnRaid with two VMs and Plex

What you mean by 2 CPU cables? The combi of a 24 pin + 8 pin, or 2 x that combo?

Unless you go crazy high with 3 GPU's or so, would not go over 650 w overall. 650 is still enough for CF/SLI + OC unless you go with old school powerhungry cards. So that can save you some budget aswell.

Going cheap on PSU, can be costly in the future. Buy a good one now, and last for 10+ years and several builds is more worthwhile imo. Suggest something like the corsair RMi or x series, or any of the other tier 1 PSU's.

I'm not going cheap with the PSU :D just seeking the best solution :D I need to CPU 8 pin cables because i'm building a 2 CPU computer. Right now i'm thinking about just having one gpu - the 280x that i have now...

I found a used rm850 and I think i'll pick that. I was going to buy it a few years ago, but somebody on this forum said pick V700 because the corsair doesn't have all Jap caps ...

Hehe thats ok. A normal RM series? Be sure it functions then, since that series had some issues now and then ( and no that where not the caps causing it in these cases) The caps is why the RMi series came, and the RMx is in a way the replacmenet of the normal RM series.

Thanks, I will. I think the guys used it for mining, since he is selling 2 antminers. How could that effect the PSU? I guess running them 24/7 at a big load would have some effect on the unit. But how big?

Well it lowers the theoretical lifespan, but a decent PSU should still go for several years. My old 1000W didn't run 24/7, but more like 16/7 and still works after 10 years. Only reason I switched PSU is because I didn't need that power anymore and wanted better cablemanagement.

Anyway, no matter what brand/type PSU you ahve, all can break sooner then expected, but despite the normal RM having some issue's the overall quality of parts seem fine. So if it works as it should, no biggie.

I think I'll grab it. He says that he didn't have any issues with it and it's very cheap. 80€ and he said the price can be lowered a bit.

See if you can get a bit off then obviously. But still a decent price since the newer RM850x is around €144 and up, and the old RM was around 130 ish here in NL atleast.
