I have an iPad Air 2 and when i want to track it when it is turned off it does not work.

Is there a way i can make it so it can still be trackable when turned off?

Thanks.

At best you can get the last known location. But once it's powered off, the GPS radio is powered off too. Once someone finds it and powers it on, it'll also need an Internet connection to report it's location. Wait and hope for the best. Report it stolen/lost if that's the case. The cops often find stolen goods in all sorts of raids and run the IMEI/MAC codes and serial numbers through some database. A buddy of mine got her lost laptop back that way after it being gone for over a year. Turned out her neighbor had it all along. :/
