Heya'll,

I want to get my self an upgrade from this system:

AMD Athlon II X4 630 (AM3)

3GB DDR2 @ 402mhz

ASUSTek V-M3A3200 (AM2)

512MB Geforce 210

Thing that are coming with me from the system because I recently purchased it:

Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 2TB

Samsung 128GB 840 Pro (maybe I'll get an EVO drive and put the 840 Pro in my laptop, for the R/W performance)

The budget:

500-600 Euro (I live in The Netherlands, EU)

Aim:

I want to use the system for gaming eventually, but I'll definitely wait out the new GPU wars between AMD and Nvidia.

So for now, I want to build a computer that is silent, fast with overclocking ability.

I was thinking of these parts:

Corsair 550D or Define R4?

AMD FX8350 (AM3+)

Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0

Corsair Hydro H110 (or something else?)

I would like Noctua fans for the cooler.

8GB RAM? (My 3GB is full constantly while doing programming)

A power supply that doesn't turn it's fan until we would for example go and use a real graphics card.

As for the GPU, I was thinking of either keeping the 210 (512mb) or get a getting a temporary Silent 610 like this one:

Asus GT610-SL-1GD3-L

Monitors:

I would like to use 3x 1920x1200 monitors, but that'd be out of my league for now. haha

But I'm happy with my Belinea 1680x1050 monitor, the color and resolution are really good.

Peripherals:

I have a M570 Logitech Trackball and an IBM Model M.

I would need a gaming mouse eventually, and I would like it to be wireless but still be fast to respond in gaming?

Also, I'm planning on doing this:

http://www.overclock.net/t/286830/info-how-to-silence-any-hdd-for-1

So the case should have room for at least 1x HDD with this elastic thick wire in the 5,25 bay. Which I would imagine to take up 2x 5,25 slots.

Cheers,

Arndroid

If you want silent go for a NHD14 or a PHTC14PE. I use the phanteks one with Fractal case fans and two Noctua intake fans. If the computer didn't light and was windowless you'd have a hard time telling that it was on.

HDD seek noises are becoming annoying now though lol.

Error: 410

I am a bit confused with your messy post but I will try to make sense out of it and help you :)

1) There is unfortuantely nothing called a properly silent AMD build (CPU wise I mean) because their CPUs does make more noise in my experience :(

2) Will you be shopping from the Netherlands or can you order from abroad? Please don't tell me you want to buy at store...

3) You don't need a H110 for this build...

4) I had the same GPU before this build and you really do need a new one for a AMD-8350...

5) Noctua fans is probably a bit expensive for this budget :(

6) If you want a wireless gaming mouse which performs well that costs quite a lot so please go wired to start with :)

7) What exactly are you planning on running with a GT 610?...

I am really sorry for the negativity but I think this will be a bit hard myself :(
