Soundbar for PC?

I was wondering if anyone used a soundbar for their computer audio?

I've been looking around at speaker and was thinking of a soundbar instead maybe a 2.0 or 2.1

Doesn't really make sense on a desk. Id get computer speakers.

eh, i either go headphones, or speakers all over the room

(currently have a 5.1 surround with a speaker in the 4 corners, a speaker under my center display, a sub under my desk, and to give some extra oomph i have an old solid state amp from the "just after tube amps" era powering some ancient bookshelf speaker behind me.)

I have headphones already. Plantronics 780 but I don't like using them for long period of time since they start hurting my ears. I just want something simple and soundbars are pretty much just plug and play.

It'd work okay if you can aim it right.

I run a samsung sound bar just due to it fitting just right under my x34, and sound good, if i want better i plug in my headphones
