Hello, I'm building a PC for my cousin, and well, he wants an ITX form factor due to room constraints in his setup.

I have got all the parts I need, but I'm really torn on what power supply to use.

I'm using the Silverstone SG13 ITX case, however I don't know what is a good power supply that fits nicely in this case, that will still be good, and relatively inexpensive.

I'm looking for:

between 400 and 500W

Be at least 80+ bronze efficient

Be compatible with the Silverstone case (max 150mm length, but they recommend 140mm length)

be relatively inexpensive (( Canadian dollars ))

If anyone has any good suggestions, please let me know :)

Very nice unit, haven't heard much of Seasonic, would it be better than a Corsair CX series PSU?

check the psu whitelist.

this is a quote of what is safe from seasonic.

Literally everything. Everything. You are buying "Safe"sonic, even on their lower-tier stuff. Just be aware of "Hydrance by Seasonic" an other "designed by Seasonic" type branding out there as that does not quantify a good PSU. Also note that, just because no Seasonic PSU is truly terrible, you should not be pairing a low-end unit like the ECO series with a GTX 590, for example. It's all relative.

Ah okay. Thanks for the advice.

I'm pairing this PSU with a Core i3 6100, a RX 460 2GB from XFX, 8gb of RAM and an ASRock H110 itx board. The GPU only recommends a 400W minimum PSU

if you want i can try to find one with lower wattage, but it never hurts to have more.

I'm pretty sure even a 520W one will be efficient enough for everything but a Core i7 + GTX Titan XP, so 520W is perfect, also on a budget constraint :)

A 520W would be fine for any CPU with a Titan XP

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
