I want to use Asus Z10PE-D16 WS - Dual Socket for DDR4 LGA2011v3 - Intel C612 PCH - SSI EEB Workstation Motherboard in my rig.

will it work with two i7 6850k? and will it work with only one of them? and which is the best case for it?

Only Xeons work with 2 CPU configs.

AFAIK dual socket mobos work only with the e5/e7 series xeon cpus

i7 are locked to 1 cpu per board

Why would you want to do this? what do you want to do with it

@TECH_TALK Only Xeons will work with 2 CPU setups. You can't use i7's
