Hi all, could you help me find a good & cheap combo? (doesn't have to be integrated psu into case)

Current specs:

I7 870 running at 3.7 ghz (going for more)

Asus GTX 750 TI (going for a 1060)

Foxconn H55M-S motherboard

8GB ram

i want to have some overclocking headroom and it must not be a too expensive but reliable psu.

Same for case.

Thanks.

Your motherboard likely won't let you have overclocking headroom so good luck with that.

Nonetheless, for a 1060 a Corsair CX450M will be fine as well as a Seasonic S12/M12 or EVGA GQ/B2

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

You think? It's officially listed as a gaming mobo, lol. Currently at 3.7 ghz (i7 870 gets 3.5 with turboboost) at +0.1v. Can go all the way to 0.3

All motherboards are "gaming motherboards" in that you can play games on them and gaming is a marketing term applied to a lot of them. The motherboard you have has little to no heatsinking and will ultimately get too hot and shut down when it does.

i think these lga 1156 mobos are able to BCLK overclock the cpu. my i7 860 was locked but was still able to oc(multiplier can't go past 22x but could still oc).
