  • Cpu- 6700k
  • Cooler- H100i V2
  • Motherboard- Asus Z170-A
  • Memory- G.SKill Ripjaws V series 16GB
  • M.2 SSD- Samsung PRO 256GB M.2
  • GPU- EVGA 1080 FTW
  • Monitor- ViewSonic XG2401 144Hz 

 

I wan't quite sure of the motherboard and ram, so many options. Also just a note, I am using the supernova G2 850W and the drives out of my old build.

I'd go NZXT Kraken X61 instead of Corsair H100i, it's a better quieter AIO

I would switch the 1080 to the cheapest since they all hit the same OCs. The SC ACX 3.0 may be cheaper.

I would absolutely get a 500GB 850 EVO instead of that 950 Pro, or instead a 750GB MX300 (http://pcpartpicker.com/product/NLs8TW/crucial-mx300-750gb-25-solid-state-drive-ct750mx300ssd1)

It's 1080p 144Hz, a 1080 is still not overkill for that

 

But I would get a 1440p 144Hz freesync anyway

I strongly feel like Nvidia will have to adopt Freesync sooner or later. It's the same effect as Gsync, but way way cheaper.
