Do I use the Mini-USB port or the 3.5 in on the O2+ODAC combo?

You use the usb cable if you want to use the DAC (I suggest that you do since you paid for it). It will sound louder depending on the output volume from your computer.

My O2+ODAC combo and headphones just arrived, and they sound amazing so far. I only have one question, am I supposed to use the Mini-USB plug on the back, or am I supposed to go from PC's 3.5 out to 3.5 in on O2? Whenever I use USB, it sounds a little bit louder than when using the 3.5 jack. I also can't use the onboard sound on my motherboard because of an unknown driver issue I am still trying to figure out. I am using my laptop for the testing.
